Walk Cycle
(2023 Animation Light Tables)
During my Summer Portfolio Preperation Course in Arts University Bournemouth, I had the opportunity to try traditional animation - using light tables.

In this workshop, we were able to learn about the walk cycle - using reference books and videos. From there, we drew each from on individual layers, using the same process as older generations of animators (mark sheets for each frame).

All of these drawings were then scanned and edited together in Adobe After Effects - to create a loop.
Pierre: Animated Short Film
(2023)
Pierre was the final group project we were tasked to create during the AUB Summer Animation Portfolio Preparation Course. My group and I had to create a story, design the characters and backgrounds, animate the scenes, and edit it all together.

Though it was a group project, I was responsible for animating scenes 8, 9, 10 - where I painted the backgrounds and animated the movements. Additionally, I was responsible for editing the scenes together, adding sound, and making the film more cohesive (due to time constraints, we ran out of time to animate certain scenes) - having knowledge in Adobe After Effects did help, as I was able to edit the sequences more easily.

Transition
(2024 Procreate)
The term transition applies to this rotoscope animation’s function and meaning. The figure in this film has experienced the impact of moving and the lifestyle of an international citizen - now, they have to transition into adulthood.
